Things that I like about Google:
Google has been around so long that it is burned in to my brain. It's lightweight, fast, and comprehensive. Google has become a tool in my daily life. I do PC repair for a living. I need to be able to search for knowledge bases and be able to look up error codes and beep codes depending on make and model. If there's a new issue I need to be able to research it. My co workers and I probably say "I don't know, Google it." More than anything else to each other.
"Don't be evil" -Google's motto, simple and noble.
Things I do not like:
I do not like how Google results have become more dynamic. Based on your geographical location and other demographic information acquired by Google it is very likely that you will not get the same page of results.
If two people searched for the same query they made get different pages.
